Director, Sales. Boom Construction Ltd.

Based in Calgary and reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer of Boom Construction Ltd.,
the Director, Sales will provide senior leadership to the sales function and team. The position is
responsible for leading a team of two sales professionals and for the overall management of
revenue generating activities. This includes developing monthly and annual sales targets, building
distribution channels, establishing strategic business relations, and providing innovative ideas for
strategic sales plans. The Director, Sales will drive the company’s achievement of its customer
acquisition and revenue growth targets while helping to strengthen Boom’s overall market

The Director, Sales will be accountable for providing value beyond “head-to-head” price
competition by creatively approaching and recommending innovative solutions to the
construction challenges and objectives of customers within target industries and markets.

As an ideal candidate for this role, you will have a minimum of ten years of related experience
including at least five years’ leading construction/energy sales teams. Your collaborative
approach and exceptional people skills enable you to lead teams and projects while developing
and maintaining long-term relationships with key stakeholders. Your proven capability leading
sales operations and building effective sales strategies underpins your ability to win projects and
exceed profitability targets.

A post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Commerce or a related discipline is an asset.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience that result in the required level of
knowledge, skill and competence will be considered.
