Based in Calgary, and reporting to the Vice President, Care Services the Director of Care is responsible for the overall management of Resident Care Services within the SkyPointe facility. This high impact role ensures effective planning, implementation, and assessment for all Care Service Operations in accordance with regional and provincial health standards and regulations. The Director of Care fosters an environment that demonstrates AgeCare’s guiding principles and encourages practices that respect resident and staff rights, individuality and diversity.

As an ideal candidate for this role, you have a minimum 10 years’ experience in a diverse leadership role within a supportive living, long-term care or acute care environment. Your demonstrated excellence in management and clinical judgement is underpinned by your ability to navigate through a complex system with a controlled and pragmatic approach. You are knowledgeable of current nursing and medical standards and have the capability to lead a high performing group of multifaceted medical professionals.

A nursing degree with the ability for active registration with CARNA is required.
